Alright.
I found this article on yahoo this morning.

And I just ordered a laptop yesterday, lol.


What are some good methods that can protect me while using a wireless hotspot.

just make sure you have decent security software. and if youre not sure what to connect to maybe ask a memeber of staff what the hotspots name is and what you need to do to log in? then you can be sure youre not connecting to a hacked....

i know you can't do it with xp, but with vista, you actually select the individual computers you want to enable file sharing with. With xp, it's on or off. So i guess run a firewall while you're away?

I don't really know.

Didnt you already ask this question? Just make sure you have a decent firewall, and that you arent sharing and folders or files.

Download Comodo firewall, run a search on google for it.
