E4400 or E6300?

OK so my friend asked me advice on which CPU to by.

it was between the E6300 or the E4400 the E4400 is 2hz but the E6300 has a higher FSB ... i think thats all thats differant between them??

if there are other differances please let me know,performance wise there the same right?(like mhz to mhz)

Please only between the E4400 and E6300 cause there the lowest price c2d and he doesn't wana spend anymore(the prices are only 30c appart i live in NZ so.. dont reommend prices plz)
 
As I know E4400 will be released on April 22, so I think it is not out yet. Personally I would get E4400 because I think clock speed is more important than FSB. E4400 is aslo more overclockable because it has more multipliers.

You mean higher multipliers :P

Are you sure you're not asking about the E4300 and the E6300? Because the E4400 isnt out yet.
 
yip there's a store that says there selling them(says online with stock) .. either that or .. there lying(but all there details on them are correct thou) .. hmm ok .. ok so if its not out .. wat would u choose between the E4300 and the E6300(e4300 is cheaper by $32(nzd) ?? .. oh yea and does ne one know the different between the E6400 and E6420 .. and same with the E6300 and E6320 .. wat does the extra 20 mean?

E6320 and E6420 have 4MB cache

E6300 and E6400 have 2MB cache

Thats the only difference

The extra "20" just means that it has 4MB of L2 cache.

And if its the E4300 vs the E6300, then I would say spend the extra money on the E6300 if you dont plan to overclock, however if you do, I would recommend the E4300.
