You're comparing the highest 79XX series with the lowest 8XXX series ...

Depends which 8600 you're talking about, since the high-end models probably will, but the lower 8600 will probably be similar to the 7900.

I heard that 8600GT is going to be $150 but for the same price you can get a better performing card like 7900GS

8500GT will cost about $100 but you can get a better card for the same price like 7600GT
