Cooling Suggestions

Hi,

What do you think I can do to help get better airflow and to generaly cool my computer down?

I have two 80mm fans on the side and an 80mm fan on the back (not pictured), Also, I have a new PSU (Antec) and the main ATX lead is sleaved.

What can I do to make my computer cooler, I have round IDE cables to help the airflow a little.

CPU: Idle, 36c
Load, 42c

Suggestions, Thanks :)
 
I'm not prepared to 'splash' (:P) out for watercooling, but thanks.

Where do you think I could add another fan?
 
well, if you have room on the top of the tower, or if you think you are up for the challenge or know someone how can do it for you, you could cut a slot in the window for one? The website I linked in my last post haves lots on info on case mods.
 
Is there anything esle I could do instead of cutting a hole in my case?

Also, I can't find anything on the web site.

Sorry, I didn't read clearly, I just drew a check mark. Uhh, you could fashion some up in the bottom of the case to push air through the case and to the rear fans. I did that for a while, until the annoying vibration got to me
 
Through the bottom? I don't think there's that much clearence from my desk for that, Thanks though.

How would I go about sticking one on the top? Would it be easy and what would I need to do?

Those are 2 sections that will help you in your questing to modding your case to add another fan if you choose to. I'm not going to do the hard work for you and got through all of the posts and find which one really relates to adding a window for a fan, I do have something resembling a life...plus I'm at work...actually...I might after all...I'm at work :P

Not a bad idea. Nothing beats making it yourself though. Meh, as long as it gets you what you need, right? Hope it works!
