Right, So I'm getting a new build.

I've been thinking of getting a Scythe Kama Bay (front 120mm fan in drive bays) for £20.

and some Corsair XMS2 1GB stick of RAM for £50.

Would it be better to get these two or to get

2GB of Crucial RAM for £75?

I can't decide, thanks a lot for any help :)

2 GB crucial RAM, its cheaper, and the quality is good... just check the WARRANTY PERIOD! and make sure they're not "made from china"...experience: 128MB AGP video card NEW, melted !!!! it died while playing NFS!

So you think the Crucial RAM, Hmmm.
I just read it has a lifetime warranty too.

The XMS2 RAM is 5400 and the Crucial RAM is 4200.

but you still think I should go with the Crucial memory?

i would go for the crucial ram mate.

for the extra £25 you get an extra gig....nice for gaming ;)

lol, I've just this second decided, to not get the bay cooler thing and get 2GB of the Corsair XMS2 RAM, Like you said, nice for gaming :P
