1.have a 400 MHz slot one cmputer (yeah yeah... outta date do wat) and i can overclock it to 600 MHz by messing with the bus speeds and stuf, well, after a few hours at 599.99 or 600mhz,a blue screen appears and it says something about an error???

2. 1.3ghz pentium cannot get it over 1.43 ghz.. it just wont boot when i go over that. speeds too much for comp to handle?

3. 2.8ghz can get it to 3.2 ghz, works, then a few hours it restarts , and does werid error and other things???!?!?

Sounds like it's not stable, which could either be because the FSB is too high for the motherboard to handle, or the voltage on the processor is too low, and needs to be raised.

oh yes, ill get the arctic sivler, but first: what type of heatsink is good for these: socket 423 , slot 1... and socket 478. socket 7. socket 3

and they fan slots are filled to max... but i put 80mm instead of 120 mm (max) ... and is there a fan for my northbrigdes?
