Hi guys. I have 3 home desktop computers, all running Win XP Pro. All three are set up in the same workgroup, different names, under a Belkin Router. I have set the router up and all three can access the internet. My problem is computer 2 and 3 can see each other and share files, but the 'main' computer of the household can't see the other computers, and they can't see it.
When I went to investigate a little further under the router status, it says that computers 2 and 3 are connected (their name shows up with an IP address), but the first computer shows up with a name of '----', and it has an IP address, so I am assuming I haven't set something up properly on the first computer.
Any ideas guys?
FYI I have
Used the windows network setup disk
Reset the computers, modem, router, all in order
