I finally figured out all the hardware I need for a high-end computer, and I want to know if what I have is a good combo, what suggestions you would have to replace my current setup, or if there are any compatibility issues with any of the hardware.

All I am really asking is if these are 100% compatible. Any help would be appreciated :)

there is no such thing as 'mid range' in quad cores yet. they are the ultimate processing machines, and they are priced to fit the bill. they are by no means to be beaten by anything else out there, so i ask you, mid-range to what? the 'higher end' quad cores? jeez.

That's what I thought. The difference between the Q6600 and the Q6700 is just the clock speed. But somebody told me the 6700 has unlocked multipliers, if so that would be the better buy for overclocking.
