Laptop and upgrades

Hi,

I'm interested in getting a laptop and would like to know:

Are there any laptops that let you upgrade the graphics/RAM(I think you can do this in most laptops) and any other hardware upgrades to help prolong the "hardware life" (basically keep it going a little longer like a desktop PC)?

Are there any Sony's that will do this? If not what brands please and also I defenatly don't want to use Dell laptops!

I hope you can help
 
all laptops allow you to upgrade RAM, a lot of newer laptop with dedicated nVidia or ATi Graphics cards allow you to upgrade. Hard drives and in some laptops processors can also be upgraded.

but the only issue with upgrading a laptop it is a lot more expensive than a desktop pc and it can be a lot harder to upgrade.

i know mine can :P lol. i would suggest finding the specs and things that you want, and then research into some laptops that have the required specs...
