Which one would you guys go for??

hey guys,

i was wondering what are you guys opinion regarding these two GPU:

which one would you go for?
8600GTS superclocked has bigger core clock (720MHz) and memory clock (2100MHz - effective) but smaller memory size (256MB) and smaller price tag too $219.99 in newegg

8800GTX has smaller core clock (575MHz) and memory clock (1800MHz - effective) but bigger memory size (768MB) and also bigger price tag $559.99 in newegg

The 8800GTX beats the crap out the 8600GTS, but if you can't afford to pay over 250$ box get a 320mb of the 8800gts

so 768MB is the key here? i mean 8800GTX having 768MB thats why it outperform the 8600GTS?

Bigger clock doesn't mean better, and yes is mostly for more ram and better design

The biggest difference isnt the size of the memory. The 8800GTX has 96 stream processors and 320 bit memory, the 8600gts only has 32 stream processors and 128 bit memory.
