I just upgraded to Windows Vista Ultimate from a not so legal Home Premium I was trying to see if I liked it. Anyway, after I did the upgrade my Kaspersky wont start. I even reinstalled it and Windows asks me if I want to allow it to run, I say yes, but it still wont start. Any experiences or suggestions about this?

This just has to be a problem with Vista itself, thats not kaspersky's fault. Is kaspersky a certified vista AV ? if not I suggest you use AVG or Bitdefender (now for vista).

yea i didnt think it was kaspersky itself, it has to be the vista and they say they work. it work when i was using home premium and microsoft has it as one of their suggested so i assume it is.

well im using bitdefender(the free version)
its suppossed to be the best...
i heard it was the best here:
http://anti-virus-software-review.toptenreviews.com/

im scanning with it now and it scans really fast at 60 files per second
it picked up 2 viruses so far

thanks, i actually got it to work by completely unistalling it, and reinstalling just the antivirus. i think im just gonna stick with kaspersky cause i like it and know it keeps me protected.
