8800GTS 640MB???

I thought 1G is next step of 512MB. oh well.

Edit: I woundering which video card is the best AGP card, I dont think these newer video card is AGP.

Gee both of video card is crazy. I would go to AGP 7950GT beacuse it not overheating issues. It is three time more slots room than ATI, but ATI is tag little faster than nvida.

hmm.... is it worth to upgrade from X1600(49th place) to 7950GT(12th place)?

how come the 9600 Pro isnt there?

theres a 9600 Se,Dont know if this is better than the 9600 pro?
 
I disagree with the X1950pro better than the 7900GT, I have benchmarked both cards and the 7900GT gets consistently better results, I have used the same system and also a clean Xp installation one with Ati drivers and the other with nvidia.

Most manufacturers sell an overclocked 7900GT. But I doubt that a stock 7900GT can beat X1950pro
 
Mine is a XFX one and although it said that it was a stock vanilla version the core was clocked 20Mhz faster, at 470Mhz, but I doubt that made much of a difference, the 7900GT consistently got 400-500 points more than the X1950 pro in 3dmark 06 and I doubt you can achieve a gain of 400 points with just a measly 20Mhz over clock.
 
I couldnt find a direct comparison but this test shows a 7900gs beating the 1950pro.. meaning elitehacker's right. if you can tighten this up i think this should be stickied. Very useful in my opinion. :)
 
It seems i forgot to put the link to the tests i was refering to.. eh what can you do? I was alittle surprised to see it showing the gs beating the pro but i went with it anyway. :o
