Need advice what to buy

I want to upgrade my desktop
following the i want
to be able to download over 10 movies with no crashes
to have a over 177790 songs and is still fast
fast no matter what happens
and upgrade the following please help me

- Overclocking... to max
- Adding more RAM to the max
- hardrive 150 gb could do the job
- and lother things the i should need please


My computer is a compact Mv5500 iknow is bit out of data my you know i could make this could alot faster

in some website it said i could add graphics is this good and sound card please respond
 
It's a compaq so unless you replace the motherboard you wont be OCing anything (well you could try clockgen but it's never as good as using the BIOS).

The manual is very generic so it doesn't really tell me anything. Some 4000 series Presarios use EDO RAM, most of them use SDRAM though.

Your best choice would be to spend a lot of money on a hard drive. You will need atleast 1TB to host that many songs + videos. Last time I checked, there weren't any internal hdd yet. There were externals, but are priced around 300-600.
 
ok your gona whant a 70gb hdd for os and programs 500gb for music 500gb for moves asus gigabit mobo amd 6300x2 4x2gb ram and that shuld the tric and if you need a new tower go to atxcases.com thay have pretty cheep cases

I dont think he would need that much RAM... nowadays 2gb would be enough maybe 4gb if you really want it... but 2gb should be enough...
