Umm... yes that power supply should work perfectly..
but I have no idea what you're saying at the end??
The hard drive is 100% essential for the PC (it really is the PC just about) and a disk drive is also essential, so if you're asking if you can go without them, no, you need them.

Not quite, there are things like live cd's where the OS is on a bootable CD, and what you can also do is if the computer is on a network have the OS on the server, and the computer boots the OS from the server with no harddrive actually in the workstations. This is used mainly in big corporations and schools, though. But the harddrive isn't 100% essential for the PC to work, that'd be something like the CPU or mobo.

But Sidney, that PSU is more than capable of handling your power needs.

Thank's guy's thats good to hear :), what i ment was could i not use 1 of my disk or hardrives to free up enouph power to run the system, if it would not work with all the componant's i wanted in the system, but reading what you have said i should not have any problems, thank you again :D

I just thought Id add a comment...

A 450W PSU could take that build EASILY! Why are people OBSESSED with huge power output power supplies?!

you do realize you can only use continiously use 80% of a units rated amps per rail ???? right

just like any electrical device they will not perform reliably when stressed.

i.e. A 20 amp electrical receptacle or breaker can only deliver 80% of its "rated" amperage in continiuos fashion. exceed that and failure is imminent.

just out of curosity; why do YOU think all reviews done on 8800 GTX's in SLI are using a 1000 watt PSU ?????

maybe this manufacturer knows something ????
