Um...I didn't know about SP2 (or what it is) until you just mentioned it. Should I get it?

It's Windows Service Pack 2, it'll close a lot of vulnerabilities in Windows, and keep your machine more secure. You can get it here.

You can turn on automatic updates in the Security Centre in the Control Panel, any Windows updates will be automatically installed

Sorry to pop by again ... one final thought on SP2 (mainly for anyone else driving by).

Whilst all XP systems should have SP2 it should not be installed on any computer that is believed to be infected. It won't install correctly and the user could end up with even more trouble. Only install it on a clean machine.
