Are my 3Dmark06 scores good?

considering you only have 36 postes, i don't believe we have known each other for a long enough time to say that. That or you don't come here often. have we met before? hmm...lets not get into that. Any who, so, like i asked, is this a good score?
 
Why don't you do some research instead of making threads about insignificant events?

And Geo, you are very new. There is nothing wrong with what ADE made a thread about, I even made a thread on the same thing when I reached that score, but of course then it was rare for anyone to beat 10K points. This is nothing compared to what some members here post.

so wait, that is a good score that I got?????? SWEET!!!!!!! only from a minor overclock in the good ole 8800GTs 640MB. I should OC some more lol...say, if i were to change the stock thermal compound to Arctic silver 5, do you think that would reduce the heat a lot? if so, I will get some more, and OC like crazy :D .....ok, not too far but what the hay, why not! LOL! and anything over 10000 is rare? wow, the power of overclocking....for some reason, it wont let me manually raise the fan speed to 100%. its not THAT loud...in fact, i cant even manually raise it at all!...any ideas why?

well my ati does not like to overclock it locks up past 550m my moterboard locks up also when i overclock:o

we are actually wasting time here :) as long as the game runs max the human eye can't really detect unless you are really anal about it :D

this one is like who knows when... ages ago. :P

i dont think it has been oced at the time of the shot.

the cpu is though.

yeah so that is a good score with the gts. i would rather clock the cpu than the video card because the card is more expensive and i would squeeze some juice when it starts to lag lolz.

idk, I wouldn't say its necessarily rare. Anything over 20,000 is rare. Use a program called RivaTuner, I have my fan set at 100% on my EVGA 8800GTS 640 superclocked, and raised the clocks a bit more and am at
Core Clock to 632MHz and
Memory Clock to 948MHz (1896MHz effective if you want to compare it to NewEggs info)

The clocks when i bought it were 576/1700. With the fan set to 100% and stock thermal compound and everything, I'm at temps ad medium load only about 55C. My latest 3Dmarkscore was around 10,400 last night

A nice computer, yes. But a complete waste of money.

As kof said himself, if he can play games on high settings at a good framerate, theres no need for higher end parts.
