Spontaneous Restart

I just rebuilt my computer again, and I have encountered a problem I have never seen before: the computer resets (exactly like I pushed the reset button; no blue screen or any indication of an error) all by itself for no reason. When it resets seems not to be related to any program I am using or how hard I am working the system; it has reset on me when I am running no programs, as well. I used all new parts (mobo, case, DVD-RW, CPU, memory). The only thing I reused was the hard drive, though I reformatted and reinstalled windows (though this was after the new computer was built).

I have run PC Check and everything passed; every test. Nothing seems to be wrong with any of the parts, but the darn thing just resets.

Anybody ever heard of anything like this before? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

What are the parts? I used a Compaq Presario that did that a lot. Make sure that you don't have to many processes running on startup.

I have 2 hard drives on mine, But I always keep on disconnected

Well one of my hard drives starts up perfectly
stays on for like 3 minutes, and then it restarts

It doesn't give me enough time to run a system check or anything

what can this be,

I've started it like 20 times and it does the exact same thing
I'm sure mine is a virus causing this

Let me know thanks

MOBO: Biostar NF4UAM2G nForce4 Ultra
CPU: AMD A64 x2 3600+
RAM: 2x1G 2800
PSU: RaidMax 530W
Graphics: Sapphire x1650 256MB

sounds like the mobo could be touching the case

Hmmmm..... if that were the case (no pun intended), then why would the thing restart randomly? The case is very secure and the MOBO is pretty securely screwed in there.

It seems more to me like a memory problem. When a certain sector is randomly accessed, it resets. But then wouldn't a program like PC Check (any other ones someone can recommend??) find the error and tell me, rather than pass the test??
