You could buy the data cable shown here.

You could also use a bluetooth dongle like this one. They are available in nearly all computer/electronic stores. :)

when i had a rzr and baught a cable then i could transfer anything from ringtones to pictures, i would invest in a cable....very good investment IMO ;)

I have Vcast on my phone, which is crap, Moto is trying to replace my iPod. I don't know how to transfer, I have a cable and to send songs to my phone, I have to sync with WMP.

i have a motorola and just had to alter a few fields in the firmware, and now it lets me set mp3's as ringtones, etc. and move pics to/from the phone

before i hacked it, the only thing i could do with the cable is edit my address book, and send'/receive messages

and i could add music on, but could only play it, i wasn't able to use it as a ringtone

verizon's very stingy about letting you download ringtones/wallpaper for free.

and they even went as far as using "BREW" for their games, while every other phone company uses java, just so that you can't download games for free, either.

that's why there aren't as many games for verizon phones compared to other companies. Because verizon's the ONLY company that doesn't use JAVA.

How did u hack it?

just found a cellphone unlocking forum, and it had a step-by-step guide and all the software i needed.

you just need a cable

oh, and i remember now, it's called a "SEEM" and i had to use a "SEEM EDITOR" it's not called firmware

i have the razr as well, but i'm on t-mobile so i dont really have any restrictions as to games or ringtones and stuff. i use a kensington bt dongle with the latest widcomm drivers and i'm able to cut and send my own ringtones to my phone. i can also take a bunch of pics, then load them on my computer and delete them from my phone.

PLUS, i dont know if anyone on this board has used this, but theres a neat little program that will allow you to connect your phone via the bt dongle to the computer. it allows you to see if someone is calling, you can dail out, send texts, everything from the computer. its really cool, this is where i downloaded it: www.freedrive.co.uk. if it were me, i'd get the bt dongle instead of the cable, but thats just me.
