sony vio laptop computer hard drives not replaceable? see dialog from today's on-line chat with tech support from sony!

QUESTION; WHAT IS THE LARGEST HARD DRIVE MY SONY PCGFRV26 LAPTOP WILL ACCEPT?
SONY; VAIO Notebooks that ship with an internal Hard Drive are not designed to be removable by the end user and our service centers do not offer a hard drive upgrade program.
QUESTION; huh?..you are telling me that the hard drive in my computer is not replaceable except by sony?..that is absurd!
SONY; You may wish to consider an external hard drive. Although Sony does not offer an external hard drive, external hard drives can be found from various third-party hardware vendors using the following connections:
1. PC Card (PCMCIA)
2. USB
3. Parallel Port
4. i.LINK (IEEE-1394)
QUESTION; also, that IS NOT THE QUESTION I HAD ASKED!...i want to know WHAT IS THE LARGEST HARD DRIVE THAT THIS COMPUTER (BIOS) WILL ACCEPT?...IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT QUESTION THEN, LET ME PUT IT ANOTHER WAY; DO YOU SELL A HARD DRIVE REPLACEMENT/UPGRADE FOR THIS COMPUTER AND IF SO, WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM SIZE HARD DRIVE YOU SELL FOR IT...INTERNAL HARD DRIVE ONLY!....NOW, I BET YA WILL TELL ME THAT SONY DOES NOT SELL HARD DRIVES FOR MY COMPUTER, RIGHT?..PLEASE ADVISE AS TO MY QUESTIONS.

geez!...The sony company is a P.O.S.! ok, now the question to the board/forum; does anyone know if the hard drive in this thing is replaceable and what the max size hard drive the laptop will take? (hd has to be replaceable because hell, it was put in, right? i can't even get the screws out of the back cover, even using a jewelers screw-driver!..ugh!
