..and check my G: drive for failures, and says it has repaired the drive, though it comes up with this test every time I turn on my computer.

How do I avoid having to take these test on my G: drive every time I boot up?

Thanks..

What exactly is your G drive? I know CHKDSK comes up when I have a memory card in my laptop's memory slot, but I just cancel it.

Well, it's just an ordinary drive. The weird thing about it, is that the test comes up every time I turn on my PC - also inspite the fact that the test has finished several times before ;)

You just condradicted yourself there buddy.... It is possible to have a drive G as i have one on my pc depends on how many hdd's and how many partitions. Its not a flash drive is it?

I've got many computers here with G drives... Some are optical, some are hard drives, some are flash drives, some are RAM drives...

No, it's not a flash drive, it's an just an ordinary harddrive partition. 10 GB space - 5 GB free. Contains some music, programs, etc.

Plain simple ;)
