yea I was seriously thinking about building a new comp.. AMD of course for gaming
and I was wondering what you guys would suggest.
I dont know about price range...maybe 1000-1500??
Im looking for something that will be somewhat top of the line for sometime.

There is enough there to play all the latest games on pretty much max settings. You may need a aftermarket CPU cooler, and you could upgrade the PSU if you have more money to spend. This will make upgrading easier in the future.
 
Since when is AMD for gaming, Intel is way better then AMD.

I dont think INTEL is "way better than AMD" if you look at benchmarks....its almost just personal preference unless your going to overclock then i would go with intel...just my opinion ;) :P
