Painting a plastic case

My dad has just told me that if and when i try to spray the plastic casing of a CRT monitor the paint wont stick. Is this true and is there anything i can do to make the paint stick as i'm after a nice clean white finish. Eg coat with some sort of primer ??

Use Krylon Plastic Spray paint. It molecularly bonds its atoms directly to the surface of plastic. It is special for plastic.

I am painting a case with 'bondo' on the plastic front panel, and sanded metal on the sides. I am sanding down the sides to get rid of the texture crap, what should I do? Should I primer the whole thing after 'bondo' and sanding?

Thanks

That is a great recommendation. They sell that at work, it's a little pricey about $4.70 a can, but the stuff does wonders
