I wouldn't get any data transfer cable with lighting, other than USB. Get a UV reactive cable and a UV cathode.

I don't believe they do, because SATA does not carry it's own power like USB and Firewire do. USB and Firewire have enough power going through them to power and external device, while SATA devices always require the SATA data transfer cable, and a power source.

You're best bet would be to buy red UV reactive cables, then just buy a black light for it.
