base score?

I recently purchase a new dell computer it has a dual core processor and and x1400 ati graphics card and 1gig of memory it has vista home installed which I had never used before and it has something called a base score rating I tried this rating and only got 2.0 it says you need 3 for windows aero? Should I be getting such a low score having a dual core processor ,thought my new computer was state of the art etc??

BUT Sure, Dual Core Processors.... Most New/Near New Chips have Dual Core... Nothing Special These Days.

Your Ram And im Not too sure, But your Graphics card are letting you down.

How Many Ghz is your "Dual Core" Processor (That doesn mean Times your processor Ghz By 2, It simply means it has 2 cores, to help with sharing load)

Man, 1 Gig Ram wont get you far these days...

And for your "State of the art" Quote.. to give you an Idea.. There is Quad Processor Chips out now, 4 processors Dude..

So say you had a 3 ghz Chip, Thats a 12 Ghz's of Processing Power...

New Gpu Wouldn Hurt. Altho you really should Do your research first before buying from dell.
