Is this PSU any good?

Yes, it will certainly do the job. You may wish to consider the FSP FX-700 if you don't like MIRs (it's the same unit internally).

I'd also consider the Corsair HX520W. Still quite sufficient, overall better quality, modular, cheaper, etc...

What is MIR? and would modular be better? Whats the difference?
Modular just means it has removable cables. I think those are better because you can remove the cables that you dont need, to improve airflow and such.

Thanks guys! Thats what I thought modular meant. Now I know. I kinda hate MIR's. I read the reviews of the Corsair PSU and nothing but good things about it. And same goes for the one I posted. And the one I posted has more watts.

Wattage isn't important, it's the combined 12v rail ampage, and the Corsair chucks out a huge amount, 40A+ I think, and is rated to 50C which means it's very durable! They are actually produced by Seasonic too who are very good.

What about the specs on the OCZ? Is it any good?

No where near! You'd need at least the Corsair to run it comfortably, Aprevia/Aspire PSU's aren't high quality. Perhaps the Xclio Goodpower 500W could power it, wait for ceewi1 to confirm it though.

The ocz is a VERY quiet psu. You don't even hear it going and it looks nice with the blue led light inside but looks aren't really important.

The XClio would be fine for an E6600 & 8800GTS, and would work with a Q6600 & 8800GTX but be a little tight for that sort of system. If you're willing to spend the extra money, it would be worthwhile.

If you really want to save the money, the Enhance 5150GH wouldn't be a bad choice.

So which is the better PSU the OCZ Game X stream or the Corsair?
Between the two, I'd favour the Corsair. They're both good PSUs, though.

The 620w model of the corsair is around your budget too
The 620W version is great as well. There's no real need to spend the extra money for a system like yours, though.

Is it pretty quiet? I dont know if my PSU will be capable of handling my new system. Here is the specs for it http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817148006

Is it enough to run my new rig that I posted?
Don't even try it - those things will actually melt at higher loads.
