I just got Halo 2 Vista.
Installed it.
And now I am trying to log on.
I already have an Xbox LIVE account.

I keep getting this message everytime I try to log on to LIVE.

Ive made several profiles, restarted the game...

Ugh, I know what you mean!

As for the problem at hand, I also had a little trouble logging in. After going through internet explorer and logging in and while in halo2 logging in and out several times/different ways I figured it out. I wish I could remember how exactly I did it, but once its set up it does it automatically from then on.

I do however remember I had to foreword some ports on my router before it let me log in correctly. Google for the ports but if you dont find them (its only one udp, and a tcp), I can look them up later.

Good luck getting it to work, once you do maybe we can play sometime :D.

g4m3rof1337, don't you know that there is an edit button? Why do you have to double post all the time? I have started playing halo 2 MP, its pretty fun, but the graphics is just appalling.

Do you actually have to pay to use Halo 2 MP?
 
Umm, you need to get your facts straight. Halo2Vista's multiplayer is free. You only have to pay for gold IF you want match making. But everyone knows that server selection is 1000 times better.

I just signed up for it and it said it was free to join Live...

I did that so people would see the new post and see that I got the problem fixed.

I didn't have to pay for an account. I just linked it to my Xbox 360 account.


And FTW, the graphics are good.
