What to upgrade first? HP

So I just inherited an older HP a250n... it's got a lot of miles :P

Here are the specs
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00024879&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=326411&dlc=en&lang=en#N407

So, I do some gameing, a lot of downloading and uploading... I really value fast and reliability. When I play games or have 15 different applications open. I also plan to upgrade towards media editing. When I upgrade I want to upgrade to the best but it's going to happen more so over time then all at once. So I am curious what should I upgrade first? Motherboard/CPU? The HD is big enough for now. I was thinking a motherboard and ram first, use the old CPU then switch that out second.

If you guys have any tips I'm looking foward to hearing them.

That mobo has AGP and uses DDR. Both of those are fairly expensive to upgrade now(compared to similar speced PCI-Express or DDR2) Plus I beleive that processor is socket 478, which is also harder to come buy.

I wouldn't even bother trying to upgrade that system... My suggestion would be to save up and build a new one...

what's your budget? You will prolly have to buy an OS also, your pre-built OS may not recognize the ugrade

That one looks alright. What about a CPU? I am researching overclocking and would like 3.2 or 3.6.

Thanks man for the free advice!
