Are you more confotable on a flash based website or a basic HTML based website?

Here is a HTML website for example:
http://www.v1.paris.fr/EN/

Here is a flash website:
www.arsenalfx.com

(The second is a friends website, as I think we're not alowed to put our personal website...right?)

PS:No I wanted to add a poll :(

i like html pages, i don't know why, but when i see a page in flash, i immediately close it... i don't like flash on pages...

That flash website is disgusting / horrid. Intro / title movie pages you get before actually visiting the website are a huge annoyance. Whenever I'm presented with one of them I close the site down immediately without even visiting it because they're that useless. I prefer writing websites via pure code (HTML, PHP, MySQL etc). You can make them look so much more professional than you can in Flash, I find.

If you are planning on doing one, go with code, not flash.

i think in flash you can do nice pages with nice animations and such, but i don't know anobody who likes flash based pages...

Oh of course you can do some nice things with flash, but having an entire website within it is a bloody tedious thing to do. Having flash menus is a good idea with the rest being coded manually. Mix it up a little and you could do just fine. But doing the entire thing like that example above is silly in my opinion.

Breaks Flash is not just a timeline where you put your animation.

Have you heard of Actionscript? It takes more time to code a flash website that a PHP-Nuke website for the same cause...

I already have a website in Flash: www.benjidela.com and I'm building this new website : www.benjidela.com/benji3/menu.html

PS: the website is just the start, there is nothing in it yet, just the background.

HTML, definitely. Little flash things are ok embedded in the HTML page, but I don't have freaking ADD. I don't need everything to be constantly moving to keep my attention.

Yeah I realise that webbenji. I just barely use Flash myself so I can't use it to it's full capabilities. As for those two flash websites, I find them very tedious on the eyes personally. And remove those intro pages :p.
