how to overclock ?????????

well, I am also a starter, but i OC'ed by videocard by using nvidia setting that I downloaded using setting menu for my videocard. it doesn't make big difference in gaming, but huge difference when you do benchmark. if you are using xp, right click on the desktop, go to setting, choose advanced and there you go.

download a trial version of a program called powerstrip. http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,6241-order,1-page,1-c,alldownloads/description.html It'll let you adjust your GPU's core clock and the memory clock. It's pretty easy and fairly safe as you can set it to return to defaults if your system locks up.

I would highly recommend using ATI Tool, which lets you raise the memory and core sperately and scan for artifacts while doing so.

I had the x1600PRO before and they are horrible overclockers, so dont expect a whole lot from your card.
