DVD burning problem

Im using nero to burn my dvds. i ran into this problem. It would analyze the media and it would start burning it but after it makes me wait to burn the dvd i get the attempt failed. So i was thinking if i was 2 change the the write speed would that put an end to my problem??? im open to suggentions .

What media are you using? Have you tried burning with a different program such as ImgBurn? IB is free and I find it easier to use.

will software have trouble burning to dvd-r burning if it burns to cd-rw

Can you post what burner you have and what brand of media you are using? If you are having a +R or -R problem, ImgBurn will bitset, but I need to know what you have.

If you don't know, go into Device Manager and pull up the info that way ...

As long as you have a DVD burner it will be fine. Most burners now can handle both + and -.
