Yeah, it is possible, I popped that question a long time ago and didn't get many responses

yeah i know what you mean, but first you have to get a license to be given an uplink then get a (or more)
server (email,DNS,web etc..) and you have to configure routing,wireless's etc.it's a nice idea but its a huge amount of work and ......requires....BUDGET !!!...lol
a thread like this existed i think its called "be your own isp" or something similar, do a search

If you want to do it for just a few people, you could probably get away with it using your current internet connection. But if you actually plan to sell internet service to people, you would need to get a dedicated backbone, such as a T3 or OC line.
