I was just wondering what would be the cheapest case w/ PSU that would be capable of running an

E6600
8800 GTS 320MB
2X1GB RAM
250 GB SATA HDD

I dont really mind the noise and I am not interested in overclocking... Any suggestions would be appreciated :D

i wouldnt recomend you try running a 8800 on a cheap Psu which came with a case.

Most P/Ss that come installed in cases are crap, more so if your going to run a 8800. If you want a cheap case thats fine but but get a better aftermarket P/S and keep the one that came with the case as a backup or tester.

I can almost gauruntee you you wouoldnt be able to run that system on a PSU that comes with a case unless its a very expensive antec product

Not recommend to run those with cheap PSU. A good PSU can protect your hardware. A cheap PSU can ruin other hardwares when it broke down.

For your spec, I suggest you need a min. 500W PSU, XCLIO GOODPOWER 500W ATX 500W Power Supply for $50 is a reasonable midrange PSU

And if you trust the re-bate in newegg, you can buy Thermaltake Soprano VB1000WWS with $25

Or you can buy some cheap case, but don't forget to get some case fan yourself

Grab something like an Ultra XVS 600W and whatever case you'd like (they start from $10-$15). You'll find that's cheaper than getting a case with a PSU sufficient for a system like that.

+1 for trashing the casePSU.

Just go to cases on newegg, click on all cases, click on low to high, and start lookin

Ok I've found a Couple
1. 380W Antec EarthWatts $76
2. Coolermaster eXtreme 500W $69

These prices are in Australian Dollars.... Which one would be better?

A 380W couldnt power that system, a 500W could, but depends on what the amperage is on the +12V Rail(s).

As OMEGA's said, the EA380 isn't really sufficient for that system. I don't have much info on the eXtreme 500W, but would be very surprised if it weren't sufficient.

It looks like you're purchasing or getting your prices from MSY, and you might actually want to consider the Antec NSK6500 case & PSU. It's $139, and the included SU-430W should be fine for your system, albeit without too much upgrade headroom.
