Is there any rule of thumb as to what the aperature size should be set at in BIOS for an AGP video card? I have a 128 MB ATI Radeon 7500. What should I set the aperature size to?

How much system memory do you have? If you don't have a Gb or more I'd suggest leaving it alone.

I have 768 MB of SDRAM. I believe it is set at 64 MB right now. I assume that is what it's always had, but I'm not sure if I've ever changed it.

Well 64mb Isn't all that much.. You can just leave it at that if you want. I suggest putting it back to 0 though. If you choose to add any more it will take away even more of your RAM which isn't a good idea.

Can you please explain the aperature thing? What affect will it have if I have it at 0 or at 64?
Its part of your memory that is used by your AGP card for memory address space, if you have at least 256mbs or more of memory set it at 128mbs

So if I have 768 MB SDRAM and a 128 MB AGP video card, I should set the AGP aperature to 128 MB?
PS: I don't play any graphics intensive games. The most intensive game I play is Age of Mythology.
64 or 128 would probably be fine since you dont play alot of game, theres just a small performance difference anyway.

As long as your Graphics card isn't using the aperture memory, you still have use of the RAM you set aside for it. So even though the games you play wouldn't use the extra memory, it wouldn't hurt to raise it abit.
