dream computer

mine would be an asus striker mobo, 4GB ddr 1066 dominitor, quad core oc'ed, 2x 150gb raptors raided, 2x 500gb raided, 2x asus 8800 ultra sli, fatility x-fi sound card, thermaltake amour case...... too many to list... stupid post...
 
10 speaker set up? I know this is a dream system and all, but I'd rather just use a 5.1 channel system rather than clutter everything up with that many speakers. Plus, a 10 channel discrete audio system doesn't even exist, so there's really no point.
 
well i ment for people to post there dream compouter's not to put me down for getting insite.

along with what was said no psu or money could make my system.that was just throun together.

q1bajillion or whatever the fastest quad core out is

2x 10k rpm rapter RAID 5 and 1x1TB hitachi
dual 8800ultra in SLI




and a 13 inch CRT from the 80s to see it all on :)
 
Dual Xeon Quads, with a huge liquid cooling system, Vista x64, XP x64, Redhat 7, Ubuntu, 6x RAID 0 150Gb Raptor X's, Quad Channel DDR3 with 4Gb per channel(16Gb). Find a way to Quad SLI 8800 Ultra's, with two 1200w PSUs, 4x 19" monitors. Yeah, that is what I would like, overkill at its best, and a nice server, too.

bill gastes couldent build my system

4 2 gig sticks of ddr at a speed of 1ghz each

a overclokable 4 ghz prosser dont care about brand as long as it runs

and the video card i want hasent even been thoughtof yet so i cant name it


sound 2 sound blaster audges sroundsound cards

and 5 1 terbyte hdds and they do exist on a raid of course.

No Bill Gates thinks that is trash.... That is nothing compared to the server systems I have seen. Someone had a server pic on here a while back that had 128Gb of RAM. My build had 16Gb of quad channel RAM and I would definitely go with 1275Mhz of DDR3. 2 sound cards are useless and 5 1Tb HDD's are not much, 5Tb, some servers hold over 50Tb of storage, that isn't even in the Enterprise server systems.

^^ wow two floppy drives! what would you ever need TWO floppy drives for? dont you think that is a bit overkill, noone needs a PC like that, not even the president
