What 22" widescreen LCD to get?

that is not a true 2ms anyways and you can get a 22inch 5ms for around 230 if you look hard enough.

couple weeks ago best buy has acer 22 inch for 190.
 
Well i dont know much about monitors so could someone suggest one thats better then the one i first posted thats cheaper?
 
Dell LCDs are alright, but the response times arent the greatest. Pretty much do this- as long as it isnt a Westinghouse, has a response time better than 5ms, and has a good contrast ratio, get it.

The LCD i posted from Dell has a response time of 5ms...Is that the only bad thing about Dell LCD's? They look good to me but i dont know. What do you consider a good contrast ratio?

Dell's are too expensive. 5ms is a good response time. A good contrast ratio in this case would probably 1000:1 or so.
 
be careful with that samsung, there are three versions of it out. every review i have been able to find says 2/3 are terrible and 1/3 is amazing. do some research before you buy it

Well thats the first time i've heard that but i'll have to stay away from it then. Got any more suggestions anyone?
