3,000 pounds on a computer

Heres the deal man. Nobody's made parts that will play ultra high settings on game's for the next three years. So its fundamentally impossible. Just making sure you understand that. So like everyone else has said, spend half, get the best comp you can, and use the rest to upgrade for the future. Or buying whatever the hell you want to. And if you don't have experience with building, a system like the one you want might be a little difficult. Prebuilt might be the best option for you. Just my two cents, take it or leave it. Either way, good luck with it...you're a very fortunate kid.

One more thing...where the hell did you find 5.1 *wireless* speakers?? First of all, I've never heard of something other than a rear wireless adapter, and even then you have to wire the rear channels to the rear receiver. I've never heard this, at least as far as home theater goes. I'd guess some quality might be lost, but either way...I'm skeptical as to whether this is legit.

is what im talking about
and it is legit but o wait...
Jealousy gets you no-where.

LEGIT!

LOL! You clearly aren't aquainted with audio technology. First of all, if you actually READ the description...its exactly what I said. It eliminates speaker wire to the REAR satellites. It does through through a TRANSMITTER and RECEIVER. Like I said, a total wireless system doesn't exist. BTW, I go to a 50k/yr university and don't need loans. I'm afraid monetary jealousy isn't something I'm familiar with (yes guys, I know thats a disgustingly arrogant statement...but I was rubbed the wrong way, I apologize). Anyway, next time you want to one-up somebody, at least know what you're talking about.

LEGIT

Thats why I said it was out of hand...anyway, I think its more annoying when little kids act like that than older people. At least someone older or experienced would seemingly have a reason to act a bit cocky. Either way, my apologies again and I'll keep the temper down. I guess I'm a bit too competitive.

Eh, life is what you make of it. I was relatively poor until I "learned" myself some new tricks. I helped with some research and development for a beginning telecommunications project and now its boomed, so I'm fortunate at a young age. I'm really not any happier now than I was then. I just have cooler stuff...and I can finally afford a girlfriend :P

Well if his mom gave him 3k for a computer, I'd be willing to bet she'll eventually buy him a car as well. But who knows.

Hey yea sorry i was sleeping.
Sorry about earlier i think it did go over my head and i don't know that much about audio technology it just said wireless so yah spoke first thought later.
Sorry for that anyhow.

And im only getting this because my mum just sold her old house for 210,000 pounds so obviously she's gunna buy me stuff. She gave me 50,000 pounds altogether and put it in a bank account for when im 18 but now im spending some of it.

So for everyone saying im spoilt if you were my age and your mum or dad just got a shed-load of cash she or he would'nt buy you anything?

Fair enough, If you really want a PC like that do what some1 suggested before and go to www.alienware.com, there is one on there called the AREA-51 ALX (sick gaming rig) and its about 5,000 USD.

(UK LINK HERE)

This way its all ready to rock n roll and you will have the support of alienware should anything go wrong.

That would be my suggestion.

Buy a prebuilt one, the second one in that Novatech link was good, that'll certainly be Ok for what you need.

I would suggest get a reasonable mid-high spec computer about £1.5k, than save up the money to buy other stuff. May be PS3, Wii, iphone, etc....
