ok so i have AVG antivirus and also Comodo firewall. do i need anything else? is this sufficent? thanks

I would also run Spybot, Adaware, and A-Squared Free scans weekly.

I run always on 2 firewalls, little hard to configure for p2p but it's better to be safe.
the main point is to get always newest av updates

That's what I like about the internet, so many differing opinions.

Some based on personal opinion, some based on methodology.

I know which firewall I'll be test driving next!!

for freeware protection i would recomend Avast antivirus & Zonealarm firewall,A-Squared Free

there just great imo...im not saying they are the best but i like them.

Zone Alarm is great! A little annoying at first with the constant pop-up security checks, but once those are set it's good.
