wow Roncharelspatton, I just looked over your posts and you have been posting JUNK just to get to 100 posts (you even admit it a few back)...your advise had NOTHING to do with the thread in the last few I have read.. You must be a child of 13 or so judging by the content of your posts. and looking at all your histoy EVERYTHING you ask in posts is easily answerd with the seach button or google. If your PSU was "shot" your hard drive would not get hot.

I would try a few more programs before you do anything else, I have seen alot of variation using diffrent programs, sometimes the tems are swaped, the cpu will regester and somehting else, I recomend trying Everest. that is prety hot for a hard drive. mine are 39 and 44. I know that everything runs hotter in laptops is your a laptop?.. so try a frw more programs and if they all say 80, then take a real measurment yourself. 80 is way to hot to be running all the time.. if it is running at that temp start backing stuff up cuz your drive will not last long at that temp.
