Sooo, installed drivers 94.24 for GPU in my sig since they're supposed to be the newest ones. CSS freezes on the splash screen, the menu doesn't even load. Then I installed back to 91.47 cause I had it too. Same result. Then I looked into it on some other forums and I read that only 93.71 fully supported the card. So does anyone have any advice???

Typo?

This sounds like one of those crazy video driver problems that are said to be of the late DX9 Nvidia series. Hmm....Advice?

No, that's what I read on another forum. Also thanks for the links I will try them, and let you know if either works.

EDIT: No neither of those files worked. I tried them both. Still the same problem.

I found 93.81 drivers and installed them and now CSS won't even start. HL and DoD work fine. I'm going to find another copy of 93.81 because this one did not install Nvidia Control Panel.

Try the Omega drivers, they may even make CS:S work better!

Or seems not at all. CSS splash screen won't even load (Omega drivers 1.6693 for those that might ask). Now my desktop resolution max is 1280x1024 which looks like garbage on my 42". I need 1080p.

Yet, again, I solve my own problem. I decided to go all out and flash my bios. Everything works like magic now.
