Converting Cassette tapes to CD's

Hello friends,

I am wondering. I want to convert Cassette tapes into CD's, is there any way to record the audio on a cassette tape to your computer? That's all i want to know

hmm im not sure if this will work or not but i used to do the same thing years ago on two VCR players... first off plug a DVD recorder into the AV's and then plug a VCR player into the AV'S and play the video u want to record and while its playing use the DVD recorder to record whats playing..

i used to do that when u could only buy videos:P i would rent them and copy them for free :D
 
That would be illegal sniper ;)

I think you can buy some kind of software to use to record it if you have the right cables ect. to connect a tape player to your computer. Maybe someone else can elaborate a little..

it wouldnt be illegal if u were just recording your own bought video onto cd derr:P u dont have limewire? :D:D
 
he is saying that he bought the VHS a long time ago. but now he wants them to be on CDs, so he rents the movie he already owns on a different medium, and copies it to a medium he wants. is that right sniper or am i really off?
 
You said if you copy your own bought video thats legal? um no if you bought it 99% of the time its going to be copy righted even if its for personal use.

I was referring to this in the first place

I would more understand that if thats what he means, but that would still be illegal..lol

i never said that copying rented movies was legal..

how old am i? whats that got to do with anything? meh im 21:)

Hahahaha he got confussed i think :P

anyway if u want to copy ur movies from video cassette to dvd im pretty sure that trick i said on my first reply should work:) if not search the net for some conversion software:)
 
actually, it isnt illegal to make copies of your own videos, or to rip them onto your computer. sharing them with other people is illegal, but you can make as many copies of your movie as you like if you own it
