Acrylic Cases and Water Cooling

Hello

I'm trying to find a good acrylic case that has 120mm fan mountings (fans are extra :)) and I chose this case and these custom water cooling...

Sunbeam 9 Bay Acrylic Case - UV Blue

Via Aqua 1300 Water Pump 370GPH 6ft Head

Any good?

Reservoir? Also Ive never head of the make Primo...

Also that Water pump looks very cheap, you probably want summin more reliable.

I was looking for a water cooling that would fit the bill under like $170 so...:rolleyes: and the pump is actually very good for the price after I did some research...I mean come on! it's like $26! :D

If you say so m8y, I have good exp with watercooling and I have found out that if you play with water..... you get wet :D

lol, yeah go for it, as long as its reliable there is no problem.

Also what about a reservoir?

I wouldn't trust a $26 pump but that's just me. I don't remember how much it was but I had a more expensive pump than that and it was garbage. I ended up buying an Eheim 1046 (maybe 1048, don't remember and I don't have it here to check), it was way better

I'm thinking choosing either Swiftech MCRES or just T-line for bleeding/filling...

and does MCRES from FrozenCPU comes with the bracket to install or only certain stores?
 
It may be a great pump, I have never used it. I can only go by my experience, I had a SACEM L35 (I think it was an L35, it was a SACEM for sure) and it wasn't very good. It was supposed to be an inprovement over the Hydor pumps a lot of people use but like I said, it had problems. The impeller was prone to getting gummed up on basically nothing, while it wasn't a huge problem it made a hell of a lot of noise and I would have to take it all apart and put it back together. So to save the pain of having to do that a lot I got a new pump which is/was great (I'm not using it right now).

It should come with the brackets and all kinds of other stuff to mount it in your case. According to the swiftech site it's all part of the package. I used a T-line to fill and bleed, it wasn't all that much more trouble than a reservoir would be, if you get a good sized T-line it will be just as easy, if not more so depending on where you put the fillport.
 
get a better pump because you will get screwed went that pump burns out and your CPU frys


6 feet of head isn't that much, you should try for something around 10 feet of head

Well I can't spend lot of money on pump...It needs to be within in $160 water cooling and the Via Aqua 1300 suits well...

Okay I'll use the T-line. Then where should I set up the T-line?

I know it should be between CPU block and Pump..but pump is going to be at bottom and the CPU block is on top....:confused:

But can it be between radiator and CPU block?
