CD key... but no disk

hey guys,

is there a way i can download a game if i have a CD key that i can input but not the disk. I am on vacation and i want to play WC III but i forgot the disk, it wasnt in the case and its not installed on my laptop, so i am wondering if there is a place or a way i can get the game and input my CD key so that i dont have to be bored all vacation
 
that is why i use alcohol 120%. i think it is illegal to download games. i dont know about it if you have the key but i am going to have the mods check it out before i post anything. sorry.
 
no no thats cool i understand and i dont want to be doing it anyways if its illegal. I wish i could use alcohol instead of my computer but i my grandparents house is dry, coke and water is about all they got here and im not old enough to buy any myself
 
Ahaha, he didnt mean beer. There is a program called alcohol 120% that makes a copy of your game and keeps it on your computers hard drive so you never have to carry the cd with you.

Beer is bad mmkay.
 
alcohal120 is a program that allows you to mount virtual optical drives in place of CDs, or use an ISO file instead of a CD.

Daemon tools is another app that does this.

Also, most softwares are batched meaning that only a certain number of them will work with your generated ID Key.
 
hahah o wow my bad lol i have never heard of that but it sounds pretty awsome wish you would have told me about that before i left
 
also you can get alchohal 52%. its free and does not have the same features like burning it to a cd once you made a copy. all it does is copies it and lets you run it. it is free vs. 45$
 
Just out of curiosity, what did you think was a possible solution to your problem using real alcohol?

Like rubbing alcohol all over the disk?
 
Isn't copying games with Alcohol 120% still an illegal act? As in most T&C's they state that no copy what so ever is allowed to be made for personal use or otherwise.

no like getting drunk so the vacation wasn't so boring :)

but don't drink alcohol kids its bad for you so are drugs *peace to the world n all that*
