Need new ISP (Uk only)

Hey guys,

Im looking for another ISP...this post is mainly for Uk people so can anyone recomend a good ISP?

Im currently with Virgin media who taken over Blueyonder broadband but i am dissapointed with the speeds im getting.

i think im paying like £18 for 2mb:cool: for this speed:




i know i could just search around for a better ISP but i dont know who has experience bad things with diffrent ISPs so...


who you guys with?
do you think i could get a better connection for £18 a month?

Also they must not require a BT line as we have Telewest :)
 


And i pay £37 for 20mb lol. I dont think ive downloaded over 3GB either, hmmm. /me tests newsgroups

EDIT: Heh, guess i have, im getting terrible speeds on newsgroups

Your speeds looks fine to me. 2mb = 2048Kbps.
 
I'm on NTL with a 1mb connection but i thibk i'm on some sort of a package where i get the phone line and Tv as well so i'm not really sure how much i'm paying.

 
hmmm, I'm pretty sure that I'm on a 1mb connection unless they've upgraded me for free. I'll have to check later.
