CyberPower or Build my own?

I was going to buy parts from newegg and build a computer, but I found this site www.cyberpowerpc.com. The price was actually a little cheaper then newegg with similar parts to the computer I was planning to build. The thing that caught my eye the most was the 3 year warranty. This is the customers reviews about their service http://www.resellerratings.com/seller6897-p2-s1-d1.html (reviews seem mixed with good and bad). Im still undecided on whether to build my own comp or get it from them. Im planning to check back on the site after July 22nd to see if the processor prices have gone down. If not im going to build my own comp. If the prices are similar what would you guys recommend?

Your own build, ibuypower only gives you a crappy card unless you pay like 200+ more, apart that you'll learn from building and get much better parts for your cash even if ibuypower/ciberpower give "the same" stuff which they don't it looks like it but isn't most of the case is just a cheaper version of the real product.

Thanks for the advice. Im going to just buy my parts and build my own. Ive been thinking and some of the parts form the resellers could be fixed up RMAs which is why they are cheaper.

Yeah, build your own and you will know exactly whats in your machine. Dont worry about warranties, most manufactures have a 1-3 year if not (limited) lifetime guarantee

+1 for build your own

cyberpower is great if you really dont feel like building it, but its so satisfying to build your own

yeah man... I just spent a month on here with these guys getting mine worked out and its been great. Just put it together and I am sooo satisfied with the result... definately do it yourself

i noticed in your sig we have the same processor, let me know when you are ready to overclock it!

Seriously... what do you think a forum full of computer geeks is going to say. Of course build your own, it's a great learning experience, and it's also great to be able to say that you built it yourself when people ask what type of computer you have... then they think you're smart.
