Overclocking Software?

intel D845BG. i would use the bios but i cant. last time i tried the frequencies where the only settings i couldnt change. they were in the bios but grey out and unselectable. im just trying to see if software will do the trick. go ahead and tell me that it wont but i will try.


also i tried using clockgen but am having porblems. i do the clock generator setup then look at the clocks, everything seems to be the right speed. but then when i look at the pll control (the thing you over clock with i bleieve) it shows everything running way higher than it is. for example it shows CPU as 4000, and fsb at 240. why is that?
