A problem,"My Pictures" was disappeared

Today when i started my computer,i want to change a wallpaper.So i went to "My Documents',but i cant't find the folder---"My pictures".I'm sure that i didn't delete it and no one used my computer.So can you give me some suggestions?Is there any virus in my computer?

I have searched the whole computer with the key words My pictures and the name of some pictures used in the folder ,but i can find nothing.

WinXP SP2
IE6.0
Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0

1.Are you sure you didnt hide it?
2.Go to my recent documents and see if you can find something.
3.Check your computer history(when was the last day you saw the images)


and I just wanted to say something which is not related about your problem.
Do NOT use IE. Download Firefox here. Firefox is very much faster and safer.
 
in the folder options, go to view, and select Show Hidden Files and Folders and check if the file is hidden...
 
hey alexandergre, is IE 7.0 unsafe? im just askin , i hav firefow anyways, but i really like ie for sum reason ;)

I think i should reinstall WindowsXP to make sure i didn't attacked by virus

Does it show up in the properties of your start menu? (using the XP start menu, and click the customize button)
