Powers On, Powers OFF! Help!

Today I took apart my computer to install new HS&F. Now that everything is back together, it won't stay powered on. There is an led on the mobo that's lit up like normal even with pc is off. The led's on the ram light up, and the fans start to spin when I push the power button. A second later, everything powers down. I rechecked the power and reset switch connects, they seem to be correct. Can anyone help me?

Everything worked before you put the new hsf in? make sure everthing is seated properly and double check the hsf connecter to be sure its plugged in correctly.

It is seated. I am using a fan that only has the 3 pin connector instead of normal 4. Would that cause this problem? :(

My zalman is a 3pin and im using it on a 4pin mobo connecter, make sure you have it on the right 3pins

It can only fit the way it is connected now cause of the tab.

On the power/reset sw connectors should text be facing up or down??

Try using the old fan on the plug. You could leave the new HSF on(of course don't power it without anything on the CPU O.O ) But I'm just wondering if for some reason the computer doesn't realize there's a fan. One of my old systems would do that if the CPU fan wasn't connected and spinning.
 
I got some help from someone on a linux irc, so things are back up and running! Running cooler too. Thanks for your help as well.
