No... I'm from Ireland. + I just bought it and I feel like I want bo barf because the PCI-X II Is coming out:rolleyes::mad:
 
If I spent that much on a computer now, it would deff have the QX6850 and not just a q6600!


Q6850 is 1,500Euros. It's not listed. 1000GB around 200Euros. 1,700 Euros so far. Nvidia 8800ULTRA. 529Euros 2,229 euros so far. Monitor 364Euros. 2,593 Euros so far. 4GB Ram, 250 Euros. 2,843 Euros. Chassis 200Euros

Which rofly makes this 3,874. Because you need: Shipping/VAT/Deleviry.;) And my budget was under 3,000
 
they havent even utilize the max bandwidth of agp yet.. :)
Yes they have, Tom's Hardware (or a similar site) did a variety of benchmarks. They used high end cards and they set the PCI-E lane from 1x to 16x. And going from 8x to 16x they saw an improvement in games and benchmarks.

I've found QX6850's for 730.530 EUR/1000 USD.

Hey bill, I'm from ireland too and just built my own rig mainly from komplete.ie.
i picked up a C2D 6800 extreme for-450, striker mobo-250, 750w PS-130, 20" Lcd-200, 4G's of OCZ 800mhz ram-250, vista home premium-200, wireless laser keyboard+mouse-75, Xion case-60, 500G barracuda-150, pioneer dvdrw-40 and just got a XFX 8800 GTX on ebay for 360 euros. total was just over 2000 euros
