Build me a good gaming rig with a budget of $1000, without overclocking and inclusive of monitor, keyboard and mouse and case with windows xp 32bit operating system. It must be able to play oncoming release games such as crisis, call of duty 4, Fear Sequel and stalker. Thanks in advance.

Here's a build I put together, I'm tired, so I may of missed something :)

Looks good. Although i would suggest getting a Seagate hard drive 320gb. its like 10 more on newegg. I say that only because if your looking to run all those games youll need hefty amount of memory. I mean i just remember getting a demo disk with GRAW 2 on it from PC Gamer Magazine and it had almost 7gb just for demo and that was early this year. Its to bad you cant invest more in a video card. like 512 mb or 648mb. I have an idea do you have a television with an output to become a monitor for a computer. If you do that will save you 160 bucks and all you have to do is buy a 3 or 4 dollar cable. Plus side bigger the screen you have the bigger your gaming experience will be DUHHH. Someone correct me if i am wrong. I thought it was certain that you need windows vista to run DX10 or some of its Apps. My take on it was you had to since it was microsofts way of making you get either A. a new computer or B. Upgrading software (OS)

correct me if i am wrong.
