Besides, when DX10.1 comes out with SP1, you would need to get a new video card to take full advantage of it.
 
That is almost the same as my grandads computer, except he has two Athlon FX-74's and a motherboard with two socket F sockets.
 
Wait for new, the 8800GTX is so old and outdated.:P

I would actually wait, only because i'm anticipating ATi's next mega launch.:D

I hate ATI and I hope they get buried in Nvidia's tracks, no offense to you.... ATI has had some sorry cards lately, I went from a 9800 to an X1300PRO a while back and both were absolute junk. The 9800 would die in the middle of a game and I guess it was turning itself off.. I checked temp and it looked fine, ATI's stability has really turned me to Nvidia.

I don't doubt that ATi are doing absolutly dire at the moment, but i'm waiting. Maybe a long time.:D But i'll wait.:P

Yes I do.... I will be building one like this for the family biz, for some extreme photo editing in CS3. Although I suck at PS, my aunt is like a certified -something-. She wants Vista Ultimate x64, QX6850, and I dunno whether to get Geforce or FX's... I know we are gonna put mirrored HDD's in it, close to 2Tb or more.

I wish I could have this as a personal PC
